2. What data we collect
We collect the following data, depending on how you interact with us:
- Contact and identification data: name, phone number, email and, when required for invoicing, DNI/CUIT.
- Shipping data: address, city, province and postal code.
- Purchase data: products viewed or purchased, orders and delivery method.
- Messaging data: the content of the messages you send us through our service channels (including Instagram) and your user ID on those platforms.
- Browsing data: technical information collected through cookies (see our Política de Cookies).
3. Data obtained through Meta platforms (Instagram)
When you contact us via direct message on Instagram, we receive and process the content of your messages and your Instagram user ID, for the sole purpose of answering your service or sales inquiry (informing you about products, prices and availability, putting your order together and sending you the payment link, or referring you to an advisor when human assistance is needed).
We do not use that information for any other purpose, we do not sell it nor do we share it with third parties outside the operation of the service. You can request the deletion of your data at any time by writing to us at marketing@gentech.com.ar.
4. What we use your data for (purpose)
- Answer your inquiries and provide customer service.
- Process and manage your orders, payments and shipments.
- Issue the corresponding invoices.
- Improve our products, services and shopping experience.
- Send you marketing communications only if you gave us your consent (you can unsubscribe at any time).
5. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of: (a) your consentimiento (for example, when you write to us or subscribe); (b) the performance of a contract (when you buy a product); and (c) the compliance with legal obligations (for example, invoicing). Processing is carried out in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326 of the Argentine Republic.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with providers that help us operate the service, under confidentiality obligations, for example:
- Empresas de shipping and logistics (to deliver your order).
- Payment processors (to process payments securely).
- Proveedores de infrastructure and messaging (including Meta Platforms, for the operation of the Instagram channel).
7. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described and applicable legal obligations. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
8. Your rights
As the data subject, you have the right to access, rectify, update and request the deletion of your personal data, as well as to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, write to us at marketing@gentech.com.ar.
La Public Information Access Agency (AAIP), the supervisory authority for Law No. 25,326, handles complaints and claims from those whose rights are affected.
9. Data deletion
If you want us to delete the data associated with your account or your conversations (including Instagram messages), write to us at marketing@gentech.com.ar with the subject "Data deletion" indicating your username or the channel through which you contacted us. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
